Do we know each other?
Albert Rousseau
At the Nicolás Salmerón Municipal School of Music, I began my musical journey at the age of eight, unaware that it would become a one-way path.
Although I distanced myself from music for a time, it returned to me through the guitar and, later, with my first digital music programs. At just 14 years old, I had the opportunity to play around with composing.
And so, in my room, I spent hours and hours making songs and creating music. "Learning by doing" has been my motto, and it still is.
At 18, thanks to Ricky García, I had the opportunity to collaborate on the radio program Ten Dance with Los 40 Principales. At that time, electronic music consumed all my attention.
Later, in collaboration with Ricard Aymerich, a great opportunity arose to enter the radio industry thanks to CADENA DIAL, which trusted us to create its jingles. This is how MOONWORKS was born, the company where I have developed professionally for over 20 years, specializing in the production and creation of jingles for the country’s most important stations.
Throughout my life, I have grown not only professionally but also personally. Becoming a father has been a revelation for me, prompting me to question many things and placing me in an entirely new perspective.
One of the questions I asked myself was: If I had to tell my daughter Olivia something for her to always remember, what would I say? A quote from basketball coach John Wooden immediately came to mind: "Don’t give up on your dreams, or your dreams will give up on you." This inspired the birth of RJingles, stemming from the need to embark on a new path pursuing my passion for music, supported by the best professional team.
